I wonder what Charles' opinion of "Parametric Architecture" is today ? Maybe he has warmed to how beautiful the forms can become in CG? IMO he could take a water colour painting and make into CG...... and see how the computer can be used for creativity? CG = a new deep contribution to utility, efficiency and aesthetics. Zaha Hadid (UK) = the world's #1 architectural firm? Still, there are other trajectories for development too. Imagine applying the same high-quality of robotically manufactured vehicles to modular architectural elements ! Futuristic Ergonomic Architecture = Beautiful

In the United States we have dog parks, and people generally pick up after their dogs on walks. Of course in Democrat run cities like Los Angeles and San Francisco, people urinate and deficate in the streets, so be happy you don't live there!

I'm sure there are signs for dog owners to pick up after their dogs and bins to put it in, just as there are in other UK cities.

@@garyjackson3531 I’m sorry to hear that you have to put up with that sort of disgusting behaviour. In the UK because we now have so many dogs, all of which are unlicensed, the politicians find the issue too much of a ‘hot potato’ issue to deal with. The vast majority of owners in the UK do not train their dogs to recall and keep them on a leash when in public areas. When you are out in your local park trying to enjoy a walk in peace and quiet, you have your enjoyment ruined by the fucking things running and jumping up at you. When you remonstrate with the owner they will usually make some moronic comment like ‘you shouldn’t come to the park if you don’t like dogs’. Their entitlement is breathtaking.

I don't mind the Shard as far as tall glass buildings go. But the myriad structures erected in The City and Canary Wharf are truly awful and a complete affront to London's aesthetic. I'm not saying they should have been 'heritage' style, but they could at least be attractive/interesting to look at and designed to add character to the skyline.

All the buildings are excellent and their architects deserve my applause! Here in Brazil, modernism invaded the minds of architects due to the search for "consulting houses" and not houses where the revivalist architectural style is in vogue. The truth that architecture students don't learn about architectural history in colleges. Sad truth! Here in Brazil we had great names of eclectic and neoclassical architecture, one of them is the late Ramos de Azevedo. Unfortunately, here in Brazil, everyone gives credit to Oscar Niemeyer, in this architectural funeral bet that was Brasília, in the urban sphere, and which does not carry any beauty in its architectural conception.
